The equipment was supplied for a fully mechanized longwall mining face, where hydraulic roof supports play a critical role in maintaining roof stability and providing a protected working space during coal extraction. The supports are designed to operate continuously with other longwall mining equipment as the working face advances.
This project involved a large batch of hydraulic roof supports manufactured and assembled for coordinated installation along the underground working face. Each support incorporates a heavy-duty welded steel structure, roof canopy, shield components, base structure, multiple hydraulic legs, operating cylinders, linkage mechanisms, hydraulic pipelines, valve groups, and mechanical connection components.
The main hydraulic legs provide the supporting force required between the base and roof canopy. Hydraulic cylinders control equipment functions such as support adjustment, canopy positioning, and advancing movement. The articulated structural system allows the supports to adapt to changing working positions while maintaining stable support during mining operations.
The integrated hydraulic system includes high-pressure pipelines, control valves, cylinders, and connection components. These systems enable controlled movement of the support and allow multiple operating functions to be coordinated during underground production.
The supports were arranged and inspected in batches at the manufacturing facility before shipment. This enabled the project team to verify structural consistency, hydraulic component installation, mechanical interfaces, pipeline arrangements, and assembly conditions across the complete equipment package.

During production, the main steel structures were fabricated, welded, machined, and assembled according to the required underground operating conditions. Hydraulic legs, cylinders, valve groups, pipelines, pin connections, and articulated mechanisms were subsequently installed and adjusted.
Before delivery, TAIDA GLOBAL conducted workshop inspections covering structural integrity, welded joints, hydraulic cylinder installation, hydraulic pipeline routing, valve connections, linkage movement, mechanical interfaces, and overall assembly condition.
The hydraulic components were checked to confirm proper installation and connection. Major moving components and articulated mechanisms were also inspected to support reliable operation after underground installation.
The project delivery included complete hydraulic roof support assemblies, hydraulic legs, operating cylinders, roof canopy and shield structures, base assemblies, hydraulic valve groups, hydraulic hoses and pipelines, linkage mechanisms, connection components, workshop assembly, inspection, export preparation, and technical support.
For international transportation, major structural and hydraulic components were prepared according to the requirements of heavy mining equipment shipment. The project team also coordinated equipment identification, installation sequencing, hydraulic interface confirmation, and technical documentation to support subsequent underground installation.
Following delivery to the customer’s mining site in Indonesia, the hydraulic roof supports will be installed continuously along the longwall working face. During mining operations, the supports will provide roof control and working space protection while advancing together with the production face.
The large-batch delivery provides the customer with an integrated underground support solution designed to support stable, continuous, and highly mechanized longwall mining operations.
This project further demonstrates TAIDA GLOBAL’s capability in the manufacturing and international delivery of longwall hydraulic roof supports, underground mining equipment, and customized fully mechanized mining solutions for large-scale mining projects.
