The equipment was manufactured for use in a fully mechanized longwall mining system, where hydraulic roof supports provide continuous roof control and maintain a protected operating space for mining equipment and personnel as the working face advances.
The supplied units feature a robust shield-type structure incorporating heavy-duty welded steel bases, roof canopies, shield beams, hydraulic support legs, operating cylinders, linkage mechanisms, hydraulic pipelines, valve groups, pin connections, and related mechanical components.
Large-diameter hydraulic legs form the primary load-bearing elements of each support. Positioned between the base and upper supporting structure, they provide the hydraulic supporting force required to maintain stable contact with the mine roof during underground operations.
The articulated linkage system allows different structural sections of the support to move in a coordinated manner. Hydraulic cylinders control functions such as canopy positioning, support adjustment, structural movement, and advancing operations, allowing the equipment to move progressively with the longwall working face.
Hydraulic hoses, valve blocks, connectors, and control components are integrated throughout the equipment. The hydraulic system enables controlled actuation of the main working mechanisms and supports coordinated movement during mining operations.
Before delivery, the hydraulic roof supports were assembled and arranged in the manufacturing workshop for comprehensive inspection. The project team checked the main structures, hydraulic legs, cylinders, pin joints, linkage mechanisms, pipelines, valve assemblies, connection points, and overall equipment condition.

During manufacturing, the main steel structures underwent fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, and dimensional inspection. Hydraulic legs, operating cylinders, articulated mechanisms, valve groups, hoses, and mechanical connection components were subsequently installed according to the equipment configuration.
Particular attention was given to the hydraulic support legs, articulated pin connections, structural interfaces, cylinder mounting positions, pipeline routing, and valve connections, as these components directly affect the support’s operating stability and coordinated movement.
Before shipment preparation, TAIDA GLOBAL carried out final workshop checks covering structural condition, hydraulic component installation, mechanical connections, movement of articulated sections, pipeline arrangement, and overall assembly quality.
The project delivery included complete longwall hydraulic roof support units, hydraulic support legs, operating cylinders, bases, roof canopies, shield structures, linkage mechanisms, hydraulic valve groups, pipelines, connection components, workshop assembly, inspection, export preparation, and technical support.
The equipment was prepared in batches to support identification, transportation, and subsequent underground installation. Major hydraulic and structural components were secured and protected according to the transportation requirements of heavy mining machinery.
Following delivery to the customer’s mining site in Turkey, the hydraulic roof supports will be installed continuously along the longwall working face and integrated with the mine’s mechanized extraction equipment.
During operation, the supports will provide controlled roof support while advancing together with the production face, helping maintain stable working conditions and support continuous mechanized mining operations.
This project further demonstrates TAIDA GLOBAL’s capability in manufacturing longwall hydraulic roof supports, underground coal mining machinery, and customized fully mechanized mining equipment for international mining projects.
