The equipment was designed for use on a fully mechanized longwall mining face, where hydraulic roof supports provide continuous roof support, protect the working area, and advance together with the mining face during coal extraction operations.
The project involved multiple hydraulic roof support units manufactured and assembled as a complete underground support system. Each unit incorporates a heavy-duty steel base, roof canopy, shield structure, hydraulic support legs, operating cylinders, articulated linkage mechanisms, hydraulic pipelines, valve groups, and mechanical connection components.
The large-diameter hydraulic legs form the primary load-bearing system of each support. Working together with the base and roof canopy, they provide the vertical supporting force required to maintain roof stability during underground mining operations.
Additional hydraulic cylinders and articulated mechanisms are used to control support positioning, canopy movement, structural adjustment, and advancing operations. The hydraulic system allows the supports to move progressively with the mining face while maintaining controlled support of the surrounding roof structure.
The equipment also integrates hydraulic hoses, control valves, connectors, and distribution components throughout the support structure. These systems enable coordinated hydraulic operation and allow different support movements to be controlled according to underground working requirements.
Before delivery, the complete batch of supports was arranged in the workshop for assembly inspection and project verification. This allowed TAIDA GLOBAL to check structural consistency, hydraulic component installation, linkage arrangements, interface dimensions, and overall equipment condition before export preparation.

During production, the main steel structures were fabricated, welded, machined, and assembled according to the project requirements. Hydraulic legs, cylinders, linkage mechanisms, valve groups, pipelines, and related mechanical components were then installed and adjusted.
Before shipment, TAIDA GLOBAL carried out inspections covering main structural components, welded joints, hydraulic leg installation, cylinder movement, linkage mechanisms, hydraulic pipeline routing, valve connections, mechanical interfaces, and overall assembly condition.
Special attention was given to the installation and connection of hydraulic components because the reliability of the hydraulic system directly affects support positioning, load-bearing performance, and advancing operations underground.
The project delivery included complete hydraulic roof support assemblies, roof canopies, shield structures, bases, hydraulic support legs, operating cylinders, linkage mechanisms, valve groups, hydraulic hoses and pipelines, mechanical connection components, workshop assembly, inspection, export preparation, and technical support.
For overseas transportation, major hydraulic and mechanical components were secured and protected according to heavy mining equipment shipping requirements. Equipment identification and installation sequencing were also coordinated to support efficient assembly after arrival at the customer’s mining site.
Following delivery and underground installation in Vietnam, the hydraulic roof supports will be arranged continuously along the longwall working face. During mining operations, they will provide roof support and working-area protection while advancing together with the production face.
The large-batch supply provides the customer with an integrated underground support system designed to support stable and continuous mechanized mining operations.
This successful project further demonstrates TAIDA GLOBAL’s manufacturing and international project delivery capability in longwall hydraulic roof supports, underground coal mining equipment, and customized fully mechanized mining solutions.
