The hydraulic roof supports were supplied for use in a fully mechanized longwall mining face, where they provide continuous roof support and maintain a protected working space during underground extraction operations. The equipment is designed to operate together with other longwall mining equipment, supporting coordinated production as the working face advances.
Each support features a robust steel structure combined with multiple hydraulic legs, operating cylinders, articulated structural components, hydraulic pipelines, control valves, roof canopy sections, shield structures, and heavy-duty base assemblies. The hydraulic system enables the equipment to support the mine roof, adjust its working position, and advance with the mining face according to operating requirements.
The large hydraulic legs visible within the support structure provide the primary supporting force between the base and upper canopy. Multiple hydraulic cylinders are arranged throughout the equipment to control different movements, including support adjustment, canopy positioning, and advancing operations.
Hydraulic hoses, valve groups, connectors, and control components are integrated into the support structure to provide centralized hydraulic actuation. The equipment configuration was selected according to the customer’s mining conditions, working face arrangement, and underground equipment layout.
Before delivery, TAIDA GLOBAL completed workshop assembly and inspection of the main structural and hydraulic systems. Major items checked included hydraulic legs, operating cylinders, welded steel structures, articulated joints, pin connections, hydraulic hoses, valve groups, seals, structural interfaces, and overall assembly condition.
The hydraulic components were also inspected for installation accuracy, connection integrity, movement performance, and readiness for underground operation before the equipment entered the final export preparation stage.

The project delivery included complete hydraulic roof support structures, hydraulic legs, operating cylinders, articulated mechanisms, hydraulic hoses, valve groups, connection components, workshop assembly, functional inspection, export preparation, and technical support.
During manufacturing, the structural assemblies were fabricated and assembled first, followed by the installation of hydraulic legs, cylinders, valve groups, pipelines, and related mechanical components. Particular attention was given to hydraulic connections and articulated joints because these components directly affect support movement and operating reliability underground.
Before shipment, the completed equipment underwent final workshop inspection covering structural integrity, hydraulic component installation, pipeline routing, valve connections, cylinder movement, articulated mechanism operation, and general equipment condition.
After delivery and installation at the customer’s mining site in Brazil, the hydraulic roof supports will operate along the underground longwall face, providing continuous roof support as mining equipment progresses through the coal seam.
The project provides the customer with a robust underground support solution designed to improve working face stability, equipment coordination, and the continuity of mechanized mining operations.
