Pillar-Mounted Jib Crane Delivered to Mexico for Workshop Material Handling

2026-08-14

In August 2026, TAIDA GLOBAL successfully completed the production and delivery of a pillar-mounted

jib craneto Mexico for an industrial workshop material handling project.

The equipment was designed for localized lifting operations inside the customer’s production facility, where components, tools, and production materials need to be transferred frequently between designated workstations. Compared with a full-span overhead crane system, the pillar-mounted jib crane provides a compact lifting solution for areas where lifting operations are concentrated within a limited working radius.

The crane features a floor-mounted vertical column, horizontal cantilever jib arm, electric hoist, lifting hook assembly, electrical components, and rotating support structure. The electric hoist travels along the jib arm, allowing loads to be lifted vertically and positioned horizontally within the effective working area.

The rotating jib structure enables the lifting point to cover different positions around the workstation, making the equipment suitable for machinery assembly, component loading and unloading, maintenance work, tooling replacement, and general workshop material handling.

The crane was assembled and tested in the workshop before shipment. The main steel structure, supporting column, jib arm, hoisting equipment, hook assembly, electrical wiring, connection points, fasteners, and operating functions were checked before final delivery preparation.

Project Delivery Scope

The project delivery included the supporting column, jib arm structure, electric hoist, lifting hook assembly, rotating structure, electrical control components, mounting parts, safety-related components, workshop assembly, functional testing, packing, and technical support.

During production, the main structural components were fabricated and assembled according to the required installation layout. The hoisting equipment and electrical components were then installed, followed by functional checks of lifting, traveling, positioning, and jib movement.

Before shipment, TAIDA GLOBAL carried out a final workshop inspection to verify the overall structural condition, mechanical assembly, electrical connections, hoist operation, hook movement, and equipment readiness for international transportation.

After installation at the customer’s facility in Mexico, the jib crane will be used for frequent lifting and positioning tasks around designated production and maintenance stations. Its compact structure allows the customer to add dedicated lifting capability without occupying a large workshop area.

The project provides the customer with a practical solution for improving material transfer efficiency, reducing unnecessary manual handling, and supporting more organized production and maintenance operations.

This successful delivery demonstrates TAIDA GLOBAL’s capability to provide customized pillar-mounted jib cranes and localized lifting solutions for manufacturing plants, machinery workshops, assembly lines, maintenance stations, and other industrial material handling applications.
