The equipment was manufactured for a fully mechanized longwall mining system, where hydraulic roof supports provide continuous roof control and maintain a protected operating space as coal extraction progresses along the working face.
The project includes multiple hydraulic roof support units arranged as a complete underground support system. Each support incorporates a heavy-duty welded steel base, roof canopy, shield structure, large-diameter hydraulic legs, operating cylinders, articulated linkage mechanisms, hydraulic pipelines, valve groups, pin connections, and associated mechanical components.
The large hydraulic legs installed between the base and upper supporting structure provide the primary supporting force of the equipment. During underground operation, the hydraulic system allows the supports to maintain controlled contact with the mine roof while adapting to changes in working height and operating conditions.
Articulated linkage mechanisms connect the main structural sections and allow coordinated movement during support adjustment and advancement. Hydraulic cylinders are used to control canopy positioning, structural movement, advancing functions, and other operating actions required along the longwall working face.
The supports also integrate hydraulic hoses, valve blocks, connectors, and control components throughout the structure. These components form the hydraulic control system required for coordinated operation of the support mechanisms.
Before delivery, the complete batch was arranged inside the production workshop for assembly inspection and final project verification. This enabled the engineering and quality teams to check the consistency of multiple support units and confirm the installation condition of structural, mechanical, and hydraulic components.

During production, the main steel structures were fabricated, welded, machined, and assembled according to the project requirements. Particular attention was given to structural connection areas, pin interfaces, hydraulic leg mounting positions, linkage mechanisms, and other load-bearing sections.
After structural assembly, the hydraulic legs, operating cylinders, pipelines, valve groups, connectors, and related hydraulic components were installed and adjusted.
Before shipment, TAIDA GLOBAL carried out comprehensive workshop inspections covering main structural components, welded joints, hydraulic leg installation, cylinder movement, articulated connections, hydraulic pipeline routing, valve assemblies, mechanical interfaces, and overall assembly condition.
The large-batch arrangement also allowed the project team to verify equipment identification and assembly consistency before export preparation, supporting efficient transportation and subsequent installation at the mining site.
The project delivery included complete longwall hydraulic roof support units, bases, roof canopies, shield structures, hydraulic support legs, operating cylinders, linkage mechanisms, hydraulic valve groups, hydraulic hoses and pipelines, mechanical connection components, workshop assembly, inspection, export preparation, and technical support.
Major structural and hydraulic components were secured and protected according to the transportation requirements of heavy underground mining machinery. Equipment identification and installation sequencing were also coordinated to support the customer during subsequent site installation.
Following delivery to the mining project in India, the hydraulic roof supports will be installed continuously along the underground longwall working face and integrated with the corresponding mechanized coal extraction equipment.
During operation, the supports will provide controlled roof support and working-area protection while advancing progressively with the mining face. Their coordinated hydraulic operation supports stable and continuous mechanized mining activities under demanding underground conditions.
The large-batch supply provides the customer with an integrated roof support solution for a fully mechanized longwall mining system.
This successful project further demonstrates TAIDA GLOBAL’s manufacturing and international delivery capability in longwall hydraulic roof supports, underground coal mining machinery, and customized fully mechanized mining solutions for large-scale mining projects.
