Hydraulic Roof Support Structural Components Delivered to Malaysia

In August 2026, TAIDA GLOBAL successfully completed the production and delivery preparation of a batch of hydraulic roof support structural components for an underground mining project in Malaysia.

The components were manufactured for integration into longwall hydraulic roof support systems, which are used to provide controlled roof support and protected working space during mechanized underground mining operations. As key load-bearing and connecting elements of the complete support system, these structural assemblies must withstand repeated mechanical loads while maintaining accurate connection with hydraulic and articulated mechanisms.

The delivered components feature heavy-duty welded steel construction, reinforced pivot sections, large-diameter pin connection points, mounting interfaces, articulated joints, and hydraulic connection provisions. Their structural configuration allows them to be incorporated into the moving sections of hydraulic roof supports and connected with other assemblies through high-strength pins and hydraulic actuators.

Several different structural configurations were manufactured for the project to match corresponding positions within the complete roof support assembly. The large pin bores and reinforced connection areas visible on the components are designed for articulated movement and load transfer between adjacent support structures.

During manufacturing, the steel structures underwent fabrication, welding, machining, assembly preparation, and dimensional inspection. Particular attention was given to pin holes, bearing positions, welded joints, mounting surfaces, and structural interfaces, as these areas directly affect the alignment and movement of the completed hydraulic support.

Before delivery, the finished components were arranged in the workshop for final inspection and matching verification. Hydraulic hoses and associated connection parts fitted to selected assemblies were also checked to confirm installation condition and readiness for integration into the complete equipment.

Manufacturing and Quality Inspection

During production, the main steel sections were cut, fabricated, welded, and machined according to the structural requirements of the hydraulic roof support system. Reinforced areas were incorporated around major connection points to provide reliable load transfer between articulated components.

After fabrication, critical pin holes and connection surfaces were machined to achieve the dimensional accuracy required for subsequent assembly. Each component was then checked for structural condition, connection alignment, interface matching, and overall manufacturing quality.

Before export preparation, TAIDA GLOBAL carried out final workshop inspections covering welded structures, pivot connections, machined bores, mounting interfaces, hydraulic connection arrangements, and overall component condition.

The components were grouped according to their installation positions to support efficient identification and assembly after arrival at the customer’s project site.

Project Delivery Scope

The project delivery included hydraulic roof support structural assemblies, articulated linkage components, reinforced connection structures, machined pin interfaces, mounting parts, selected hydraulic connection components, workshop inspection, export preparation, and technical support.

During the project, TAIDA GLOBAL coordinated the fabrication and machining of different structural assemblies to ensure compatibility with the complete hydraulic roof support design. Component identification and assembly relationships were also confirmed before shipment preparation.

Following delivery to Malaysia, the components will be integrated into complete longwall hydraulic roof support units and used as part of the underground mining support system. Their primary role will be to transfer structural loads, support articulated movement, and connect the main sections of the hydraulic support during mining operations.

This project demonstrates TAIDA GLOBAL’s capability in manufacturing hydraulic roof support structures, precision-machined heavy steel components, and customized underground mining equipment for international projects, providing customers with both complete mining systems and key replacement or assembly components.
